Webpress 12.06.04 Released

WebPress 12.06.04 was released with the following new features:

With footer site maps becoming common type of navigation, we have added the ability  to embed Content Blocks into the Page Footer. Using either HTML Content Block types or Menu Content Block types, you can now create dynamic, useful navigation for your visitors.

We have also introduced a new type of Article called Template Articles. Template Articles can be created by any member of the YWP staff to help clients more easily create new articles which have both pre-selected settings, security and formatting. The types of articles can be used in targeted areas of your site, such as news items, press releases and blog posts.

With this release we now have the ability to use an alternate graphical editor, TinyMCE. TinyMCE has been integrated into WebPress using custom plugins which give you even more control over your content. With the introduction of this new editor. In addition to the same features included in the Legacy Editor, TinyMCE includes the following new features:

• Embed media files such Flash, Quicktime Movies and Windows Media files
• Ability to set the background color of text
• Find and Replace within the content
• Superscripting and Subscripting
• Styles dropdown can be used to apply CSS styles to content
• Content type dropdown allows selection of paragraph and header tags
• Insert custom characters and symbols
• Clean up messy HTML code
• Paste from Microsoft Word
• Insert block quotes
• Define abbreviations & acronyms
