Socialize Content Block

 

Help your readers share your website content with the Socialize content block.  Readers can now tweet, send to facebook, digg, bookmark in delicious, stumbleupon, send to linkedin, email, print or save your content as a pdf.

You can add this content block to the footer of your website to allow readers to share any page of your website, or add it at the article level for blogs or news.

Step 1:

  • Log into your administration and click on Content Blocks under the Content Pages module.
  • Then click on Add a new Content Block at the top of the page.

Step 2:

  • Name the content block something recognizable.  We recommend keeping it simply Socialize.
  • Make sure Show the Block Name on top of the Block is UNCHECKED.
  • Choose Socialize from the Type drop-down list.
  • Width can stay Automatic.
  • Keep default settings for Viewable by and Managed by.
  • Status needs to be Enabled.
  • Click Next.

Step 3

  • Check the box next to the sharing method you'd like to offer your readers. To learn more about the sharing methods offered, click here.
  • Click Save.

  • Embed the content block into your article or footer by clicking the embed icon and selecting Socialize from the drop down box.
  • Save your article or footer as normal.
