What causes uveitis?
Approximately sixty different things can cause uveitis, and discovering what a particular patient’s cause for their uveitis can take some detective work.

How is uveitis treated?  
Identifying the cause is often crucial to determine the proper treatment.  Some forms of uveitis can be treated with eyedrops.  In other cases, proper care requires the use of systemic medications.
