Welcome to the Phillips County Chamber of Commerce website. As you will see through this website, Phillips County is more than its present citizens; it is shaped by its rich and cultural history and its landscape.

Phillips County is located in central-eastern Arkansas with the mighty Mississippi River acting as its natural boundary to the east, the St. Francis National Forest and agricultural farmland forming its border to the north, agricultural farmland to the south, the White River National Wildlife Refuge and even more agricultural farmland to the west.

Phillips County is home to two national scenic byways: the Great River Road and Crowley’s Ridge Scenic Byway. The county is located on Crowley’s Ridge which is an unusual formation of sediment-formed rolling hills that rises out of the Arkansas Delta which acted as a great natural fortress for the Union Army during the Battle of Helena in 1863 and interestingly enough, four of the defensive batteries are still visible today. Besides being blessed our natural resources, Phillips County is home to numerous structures listed on the National Register of Historic Places including a confederate cemetery on a hilltop overlooking Ole Man River, three historic districts, an incredible county museum, displaying countless artifacts displaying Phillips County’s timeline, home to a museum of the Department of Arkansas Heritage depicting the Delta and its people, the Civil War, the Flood of 1927, and the Delta blues music. The county also boasts several annual festivals and events: the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival (formerly King Biscuit Blues Festival), the Wild Hog Music Festival and Motorcycle Rally, Warfield Music Festival, and Delta Family Gospel Festival being the four largest. If exploring the past and enjoying the great outdoors is not your thing, then we have ample shopping opportunities, bed and breakfasts, and some fabulous restaurants for you to enjoy. The last treasure of all is our people. The people of Phillips County are steadfast, friendly, humble, and hospitable and are awaiting your visit.

As you can and will see throughout this website, there are plenty of opportunities to get out and explore. No matter what you desire; be it hunting, fishing, shopping, festivals, or just spending time exploring the past, we have it all in Phillips County.
