These weeks are moving way too quickly.  Only two more weeks of school.  It is so hard to believe.  We have basically covered all of the material for this year.  We will be doing a lot of reviewing this next week.  Please look at the reminder list for upcoming dates and events.  During our last week of school on Tuesday, May 31st, Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second grade are taking a field trip the Nature Center.  We will also be taking a sack lunch with us.  We will be gone from 8:00 A.M. to about 12:00 P.M. If any of you are available to help drive or just would like to go with us, there will be a permission slip coming home with your child next week.  

  REMINDERS: 

1. Ask your child about their Memory Verse Booklet on Monday's.  Please continue to help your child learn these verses each week. 

2. Just a reminder to send their Memory Verse Booklet back to school on Friday of each week as we will be using them on Monday's. 

3. Preschool Closing Sunday in the gym - 3:00 P.M.  

4.  Kindergarten Closing Program - Tuesday - May 24

5.  Monday - May 30th - Fun and field DAy

6.  Tuesday - May 31st - Field Trip

7.  Friday - June 3rd - School Closing - dismissal at 9:30 A.M.

If you do not have a church home I would personally like to invite you to come and visit First Lutheran Church at 1115 North D Street.  We worship at  8:00 and 11:45 A.M.   We also have Children's Sunday School in our Ministry Building next  door to the church.  What a wonderful experience it is to be refueled with God's Word each week.  To know that God is always there for us, to give us the peace, love, joy and forgiveness needed each day of our lives.  God's Blessings and have a safe and relaxing weekend.
