Screenings |

| All early childhood students are administered a developmental and a hearing/vision screening at the beginning of each school year. The developmental screening looks at the following areas: Speech and Language, Motor skills, and Basic Concepts. If the student does not pass any part of this screening, he/she will be referred to our special education department for further testing. A notice will be sent to parents and a conference will be held prior to any testing procedures. If a student does not pass the hearing/vision screening, his/her parents will be notified and the student will be referred to the appropriate professionals for follow-up. |
