B.U.G. Club
(Being Unusually Good)
The Bug Club is designed to reward students for their regular attendance and good behavior. Rewards are given at 4 week intervals for each winning homeroom period and at nine weeks for individual winners.
HOMEROOM PERIOD WINNERS
The homeroom from each grade that has the highest percentage present for each 4 week period will be the winner. NOTE: Doctor's excuses, court or funerals do not disqualify the homeroom group or individual students. However, absences which are full days or only partial will be treated the same.
INDIVIDUAL WINNERS
In order for a student to be an individual winner and be eligible for the nine week prize, he or she cannot have missed the same class period more than once, received any dicipline referral slips, or have more than 1 unexcused tardy for each nine week period. NOTE: Doctor's excuses, court or funerals do not disqualify the homeroom group or individual students.
REWARD/PRIZES GIVEN FOR EACH 4 WEEK PERIOD
- Five minutes early to lunch pass for all homeroom period winners.
- Chance on drawing for prizes and gifts (one per homeroom grade.)
- Afternoon icecream party/refreshments in the cafeteria.
- Entertainment-music/TV
- Basketball (gymnasium or outside courts)
- Fun and games
- Socializing period
ACTIVITIES FOR EACH NINE WEEK PERIOD
Qualifying students for the first and third nine week periods will go to the bowling alley.
